Centrally located at Banbury Community Centre, we are surrounded by a scenic wooded parkland, a river with ducks, 4 tennis courts, 2 playgrounds, a giant sandbox, and a playing field. This rustic setting is ideal for a day camp!
Banbury Kids Day Camp is a non-profit summer program that was started a volunteer parent committee in affiliation with North York Parks and Recreation. We offer a unique summer program for children ages 4 - 8. Our goal is for our campers to enjoy a wonderful fun-filled experience in a caring, enthusiastic and creative environment. A low camper/counselor ratio helps each child feel comfortable and secure whether it is their first camp experience or not. We hire teachers, ECE’s, student teachers, experienced counselors, counselors in training, and individuals who have a passion for the outdoors and for working with children. All references are checked thoroughly.

OUR CAMP PROGRAM
Our camp program runs from 9:00am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday. Lunchtime is at approximately 11:30 each day. Campers participate in a variety of specialty programs and counselor initiative programs. For the younger campers there is approximately one counselor for every four campers.
All campers will have opportunities to experience special guests, out-of-camp trips, engaging programming, and more.
Campers also experience a fabulous instructional swim program in the afternoon three days per week, snack at the end of the day, afternoon special programs, ½ day programs, and a pizza lunch every Thursday. Please send a healthy, peanut/nut free snack for your camper each morning as campers receive snack only in the afternoon.
Please note: The last day of camp is Friday, August 21st. We finish at 12:00 on that day.

SWIM PROGRAM
Banbury Kids Camp has a fabulous swim program that combines formal swim lessons with some recreational swim. Campers swim at the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehab Pool this summer. The program is based on the Red Cross Aquaquest Program. The Holland Bloorview Kids Rehab Pool will be closed to the public during the time that Banbury Kids campers will be swimming. Buses will transport the children to and from this facility.
Please note: Campers will not be swimming at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Centre in the 8th week of camp. In its place will be additional fun and creative programs.
